During his path at Venice University of Architecture he studied architectural com-position with Carlo Scarpa and he graduate on 1977 with professor Valeriano Pastor.
He founded Studio 5/82 with Roberto Varaschin in Treviso on 1982 and works on acclaimed restorations of Venetian historic buildings, design of new architectu-res from show rooms to big company headquarters, international competitions and industrial design.
In 2008 he founded the Matta & Partners studio in Milan, giving an international breath to his career and becoming a reference point for the design of beauty, retail, educational spaces and events for many famous brands in the sector.
In 2018 he opened the Un Dix-huit studio in Lausanne, where he lives, returning to devote himself to the passion for the restoration and design of residences and commercial spaces.
